Impact of the Covid-19 health crisis on the economy of art galleries

This survey, carried out internally by the Professional Committee of Art Galleries with the assistance of Nathalie Moureau and Pierre Marin, focuses on the impact of the health crisis on the economy of art galleries.

The report presents a reading of the financial risks, of the closure of certain galleries as well as the endangerment of artists, but also intervenes on the endangerment of the ecosystem of the galleries and its influence on the French cultural attractiveness. Finally, the survey proposes and underlines the importance of implementing emergency measures.
