Galerie 8+4
For more than ten years, our gallery has been singled out in the contemporary art world by the production each year of several original sets or multiples with French and international artists. Throughout our history, we have collaborated with more than 40 artists of all generations: Amélia B., Alan Charlton, Pierrette Bloch, Franck David, Philippe Favier, Hamish Fulton, Vera Molnar, Hermann Nitsch, Giuseppe Penone, Anne and Patrick Poirier, Julie Polidoro, Lionel Sabatté, Massinissa Selmani, Claire Trotignon, Lawrence Weiner, etc.
Each realization or multiple is the fruit of an encounter with the artist. Each time, we try to present works that take a particular place in the corpus of the latter, responding to a desire to present a specific and original work opening to the exploration of territories or new mediums.
Our space in the 2nd arrondissement of Paris is an opportunity to present our choices and our favorites and also to display singular, unique works from the artists’ studios. It is also an opportunity to reveal well-known ensembles, artists to be rediscovered or young artists in the making, from Paris, Brussels, Madrid, London or Berlin…
