In one way or another, and for as long as I can remember, art has always been a part of my life. Even as a child, when I walked into a room, I couldn’t help noticing everything on the walls : a painting that wasn’t straight, the soft faded colors of a photo, the deep layers of paint that covered the linen of a canvas… My first runaways were to live the great adventure : to feel free and light as I strolled the wide corridors of the Louvre, or to feel transcendent emotion as I discovered the paintings of Franz Marc or the first Van Gogh I admired in New York.

A first life in the orderly ranks of the bank and an opportunity later, a crazy dream came true: to open an art gallery in the heart of Saint-Germain-des-Prés. In 1999, I put the key in the lock of 65 rue de Seine for the first time. The first day of another life dedicated to a passion for art, the people who make it and the people who love it. Since then, through my work as an art-buying consultant and the gallery’s exhibitions, I’ve never stopped putting all my energy into making art a part of everyday life for individuals and businesses alike.

After 25 years of success and enriching interactions with artists, artworks, journalists and customers, I’ve decided to embark on a new era, a renewal to transform the space and my way of sharing art and its benefits.

Since September 2024, I continue to represent the gallery’s artists on the internet, with the possibility of viewing works by appointment, and I organize ephemeral exhibitions, offering a dynamic, agile and renewed experience.

For the deepest meaning of my commitment lies in the conviction that drives me every day : art embellishes life and transforms us. It is a source of profound well-being.
