Galerie Bessières
The Bessières Gallery opened its doors in the Levanneur House. This historic house, a Mecca of Impressionism and the cradle of Fauvism, was once the studio of Vlaminck and Derain. We are developing a new crossroads for contemporary art in western Paris. The 450 m2 spread over three floors are intended to receive art lovers, beginners or confirmed collectors and future collectors. Our mission is to welcome our public in a privileged way with a view to accessibility, as much to the works proposed as to the history of art, still so present within our walls. To achieve this, we are undertaking an ambitious program of exhibitions, conferences and events. Confirmed or emerging, often little known in France, the artists we defend are all part of a fruitful dialogue with freedom and innovation; values so powerfully at work in the first experiments of modern art.
