Galerie Polaris

After opening in 1989 on rue Saint-Claude, the Polaris gallery moved to its current location at 15 rue des Arquebusiers in Paris’ 3rd arrondissement in 2009.

The gallery has always been dedicated to the presentation of young artists who have made their first exhibition there. It follows the work of about twenty artists, including Yto Barrada, Sara Ouhaddou, Marcos Carrasquer, Speedy Graphito… From video to drawing, painting to photography, and also sculpture, the gallery presents not the latest media but the various trends that help the artist express himself today. It wishes to emphasize the work that can and should exist in the long term between an artist and the gallery, the institution and the collector.
