Founded in 1990, Spiess Seconde Modernité is an offshoot of the Galerie Spiess, which was active in Paris in the 70s and 80s.

Jacques Spiess
Monitoring of Modern Art collections. Received catalog of the work of Hermann Amann (1934-2020). Former founding member, secretary from 2008 to 2016, of the Comité d’expertise Paul Sérusier (1864-1927) which is preparing the catalog raisonné of the work. Founding member, president from 2015 to 2023, of the Wolman Committee (1929-1995), which is preparing the catalog raisonné.
