Galerie Vallois
The Galerie Vallois is dedicated to modern and contemporary art.
It was created by Robert Vallois in 1983.
Today it is located in two spaces in the heart of Saint-Germain des Prés, at 35 and 41 rue de Seine, next to the Art Deco gallery founded in 1971 by Robert and Cheska Vallois.
Initially devoted to sculpture, the gallery has gradually opened up to other mediums and today represents painters, photographers and sculptors. Among the talents it defends, the Vallois Gallery gives a special place to contemporary African art, particularly from Benin. It is today one of the key players in contemporary African art, both locally with the creation of Le Centre of Lobozounkpa (in Abomey-Calavi, Benin), and in Europe with the exhibitions and books that the gallery dedicates to it.
