Galerie Wagner
Created in 2004 at Le Touquet-Paris-Plage and mouved in Paris since 2019, The Wagner Gallery is specialize in currents of geometric abstraction: concrete art, constructiv art, kinetic art and all forms of art related to architecture and sciences. These forms of art, structuring because they are structured, sometimes minimalist, always interrogative, are the materialization of an ability to think about the world through a formal language that is certainly simple (squares, circles, triangles, lines…) but in close links with sciences, mathematics, philosophy and even spirituality.
The artists presented are of museum and international stature, or young artists with promising talent.
For 15 years, Jean-Marie Wagner has created bridges between artists and art lovers, exhibiting their work in an atypical space of over 300m2 on two levels. Since September 2019, the Gallery has moved to Paris, 19 rue des Grands Augustins, at the crossroads of the Latin Quarter, Odéon and Saint-Germain-des Près.
The Wagner Gallery nevertheless remains “Touquettoise” with, since January 2020, a space for the presentation of permanent artists. This space is only open on Sunday afternoons and / or by appointment.
