Marian Goodman Gallery
For more than 30 years, Marian Goodman has played a leading role in international contemporary art by presenting the work of some of the most influential artists of their generation. She has been instrumental in bringing European artists – particularly those of the arte povera movement – to the United States, and has established a fruitful dialogue with the world’s most prestigious museums.
Marian Goodman created her gallery in 1977 in New York, and opened a space in Paris in 1995, first on rue Debelleyme and then at 79 rue du Temple from 1999.
