Ségolène Brossette Galerie
Ségolène Brossette Galerie, which represents a large majority of French artists, defends a committed art while creating bridges with the sensitive world. Through its exhibitions, the gallery wishes to question our relationship with the living world as well as with our civilisation, driven by sociological, ecological and identity-related commitments. However, aestheticism always has a very important place in its artistic choices, with a writing that is both poetic and contemporary. Originally specialised in photography, the gallery now wishes to allow dialogue between different art forms: photography, drawing, video, performance, design, sculpture or installation.
Ségolène Brossette holds a master’s degree in Cultural Engineering and has developed her knowledge of the international art scene through her work in art galleries and the production of artistic events such as Les Ateliers de Rennes, a biennial of contemporary art, or Cutlog and the FIAC. In parallel, Ségolène Brossette, on her own initiative, was already presenting exhibitions in atypical places.
In 2019, Ségolène Brossette opens the doors of her gallery on rue Guénégaud in the 6th arrondissement of Paris, in Saint Germain-des-Prés.
She is a member of the Professional Committee of Art Galleries (CPGA) and regularly publishes catalogues of the artists she represents. The Gallery participates every year in events such as Photo Saint-Germain or Paris Gallery Weekend, as well as in contemporary art fairs such as Art Paris or Approche.
