ADIAF
The Association for the International Diffusion of French Art – ADIAF – brings together nearly 400 collectors of contemporary art who are intensely committed to the adventure of creation. Led by private collectors, supported by corporate sponsors and working in close partnership with public institutions, the ADIAF’s mission is to contribute to the international influence of the French art scene and to develop the spirit of collecting.
The ADIAF also supports the Marcel Duchamp Prize, with which the Professional Committee of Art Galleries is associated. The Marcel Duchamp Prize was created in 2000 by the ADIAF. Its ambition is to distinguish a French artist or an artist residing in France, representative of his or her generation and working in the field of plastic and visual arts: installation, video, painting, photography, sculpture … In the image of the essential artist who lends his name, this prize wishes to bring together the most innovative artists of the French scene of their generation and to encourage all the new artistic forms which stimulate creation. It is mobilized alongside the ADIAF to develop the international influence of this prize.
