Galerie INSULA

Founded in 2008 on the Ile d’Yeu by Véronique Cochois with the collaboration of Véronique Marchal, Galerie Insula is a unique meeting place for contemporary art. Established in Paris in the heart of Saint-Germain-des-Prés since 2011, it presents an innovative and demanding artistic selection. Opening up a dialogue between painting, photography, sculpture, printmaking and drawing, it highlights the singularity of languages and the sensitivity of works beyond their belonging to various current trends, somewhere between poetic figuration and abstraction. Its programming gives pride of place to the natural world, both plant and animal.
Since its creation, the Galerie Insula has invited the discovery of promising young talents as well as established artists, whom it supports in their projects.
In 2024 Galerie Insula is evolving after 15 years in business and more than 115 exhibitions to its credit, in 2024 the gallery is refocusing on online representation of its artists through newsletters and virtual exhibitions and on its website.
The emphasis is on advising collectors, and works are shown by appointment in its showroom in the 6th arrondissement of Paris in Saint-Germain-des-Prés as well as at the venues for which they are intended.
It continues to accompany its artists in their off-site projects in institutional or private venues. Galerie Insula also organizes several exceptional exhibitions during the artistic season.
